A Choice of Home, a Chance of Clothing
Graduation collection '08
Between the projected buildings she 's looking for a place to sleep. Every now and then she has to look at the materially empty but visually full skyscrapers. No-one dares to come near the treads. Maybe it's out of respect that people leave them untouched.
A place to sleep It could be anywhere, yet every night she carefully chooses a place that suits her. Getting dresses undergoes a similar process. Every time anew it's exciting wether she will succeed in giving her own twist to the clothing she's found. She even gets up early for it. The garments she leaves at the big launderette at night, will be left in the morning somewhere else in the city. No-one owns anything anymore.
A world where clothing is worn for its primary function and where a search for beauty is a daily challenge.
